I placed the upgraded ruby, made the gold key and opened the big door, then i went back to the start. Is that intended? Should I have kept playing or was that it? Either way this is a really cool game mechanic set, would love to see a longer game.

This was a good one for sure!

i grabed the lantern in the start and the gravity froze. i cant even use the unstuck function cuz there is a brick in the way. sure that the culprit is web. congrats on the second place!

also just found out that after checking if i can walk after unstucking myself with the shadow and returning ALL buttons now do nothing except A/D so yay im stuck slightly above ground in the very start. how does WebGL get that bad?

also also. i restarted and got to the big door and pressed F and space and E at the same time, making ALL buttons not work except P and when i did press it only my shadow got to the bottom AND the text is still visible and buged so i got softlocked again.

Any chance for a windows download? The webGL for me is performing poorly.

Ill sort something by tomorrow! Gonna be patching a few bugs too! :)

Atmosphere, music, ui, the puzzles. Perfect. I had a lot of fun playing this game. At some points the shadow or the player vibrates also after getting the ruby I fell before the lift comes down and the lift squished me and my sprite disappears. This game was super enjoyable and I loved playing every moment. The ability to turn the blue light on to reveal secrets is chefs kiss. The storytelling as well. Thank you for sharing your game and I hope y'all continue to make games! Great work.

This was fantastic. Visually stunning, the SFX is top notch, the mechanics are clever, the story is engaging. I think I managed to sequence-break at some point but I'm not even sure, because I still explored the whole map and there's a door I'm confused about. The controls were a bit confusing or at least the layout was unfamiliar to me but I guess it just takes a bit of getting used to. Anyways, great job. Incredibly polished game.

Okay wow. So first of all the art is fantastic sets the tone and the mood well and never fumbles throughout. 


The music and SFX are great. ESPECIALLY the weighty SFX of the knight when you move around. I love it so much.

The progression and exploration were fun and the shadow/blue light mechanics were pretty fun and simple enough tha I didn't spend too much time trying to figure out any sections.

Overall a short but really fun and well polished game with a sweet little story ontop.

Agreed Id love to work on this and come up with even more powers that use the shadow and light mechanic! Id love to see the lantern be placed in specific places to cast shadows on walls that allow the shadow to navigate and things like that! The possibilities are endless!

beautiful game, the ending surprised me as it just looped lol. i think there’s a better layout for keyboard as i kept confusing e and f together, but the game is great and has a lot of interesting lore! good job :D

Thanks you for playing!!!  Yeah we had a main menu but on the final build it stopped working *eek* so we had to cut it... wed love to expand on it further though for sure! and I do agree about the controls... i typically only play games with a controller so it was wierd for me to adjust too. <3
